- Offer evidence-based advice and evaluations related to technology tools or programs.
- Assess the needs and objectives of the product management tower.
- Advise on the best solutions to meet requirements.
- Use data analysis and research to provide design recommendations and configurations.
- Carry out issue investigations.
- Provide deployment support and optimize application design.
- Develop document solution specifications.
- Provide technical advice and coaching to support team members.
- Convert business requirements into specific HR solutions for complex projects.
- Write functional specifications to document all detailed implementation information.
- Analyze the interdependencies between functional and non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with the business sectors and integrators involved at BRP.
- Good technical and functional knowledge of Thomson Reuters' OneSource solutions (OneSource determination, OneSource compliance, OneSource GT and OneSource Tax) or equivalent with a willingness to learn.
- Experience in tax management systems.
- Strong communication, organizational and technical writing skills.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or in English on a daily basis.
- A bachelor's degree or a college degree with relevant training and certification in information systems
