
Commercial Counsel

- Supporting our global Video and Broadband business units
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, such as hardware sales, software licensing, SaaS, support and reseller agreements, and inbound licensing and supplier agreements;
- Serving as a trusted, thoughtful and pragmatic business partner to teams and functions across the Company;
- Developing new, and improving existing, agreements and legal processes & practices;
- Providing legal, compliance and policy training to employees;
- At least 5 years of relevant in-house and/or law firm experience; start-up experience a major plus;
- Experience structuring, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial, licensing and SaaS agreements for technology companies;
- Experience with issues related to hardware products, software, IP and technology licensing, and SaaS businesses;
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, creativity and adaptability;
- Enjoys managing and driving deals to closure;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative, and highly motivated
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues and concepts;
- Attention to detail, high quality work product and the ability to efficiently manage multiple matters is a must.
