- Oversee a safe workplace ensuring safety of all employees, including compliance to forklift operating guidelines.
- Effective communication of both the potato and prepared foods production schedules, KPI progress of each shift against corresponding departmental goals, forwarding customer complaints for resolution and communicating issues that arise from shifts in lessons learned and implement corrective actions.
- Provide oversight, support, and development with our employee coaching program.
- Promote and facilitate goal setting in providing annual key performance indicators (KPI’s) within warehouse functions.
- Responsible for staffing operational crews to allow efficient and customer satisfaction of outbound shipping and receiving while ensuring volume variances are handled effectively.
- Conduct interviews and assess employee candidates along with being a talent scout.
- Conflict resolution of employee and Supervisor issues.
- Policy deployment and drafting necessary revisions to keep policies and procedures current and relevant to the sites’ operations.
- Regulatory compliance and customer audit responsibilities (ex: HACCP, Food Safety, Environmental, Sociability)
- Assist in fiscal budget development related to departmental cost centers. Monitor and manage to achieve period objectives. Work with key stakeholders in Finance.
- In support of the SCA platform, responsible for identification and execution of strategic pipeline agenda. Special emphasis on continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, delivery, people and environmental pillars. Support the capital process to leverage funding requirements.
- Finished goods inventory monitoring and control to ensure accuracy.
- Manage accessorial operational spend, including ordering and processing of invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee the use of the lift truck fleet monitoring system to ensure safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
- 5 years experience in Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing. Post secondary Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Broad and complete understanding of Inventory Management processes.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and coaching skills along with ability to manage multiple priorities is required.
- Experience and ability to problem solve, analyze trends, coach, and lead to facilitate McCain broader goals.
