In this role you will be a member of the Deloitte Global Confidentiality, Privacy, and AI Governance & Compliance team, focused specifically on Confidentiality and Privacy. You will work with other teams within Deloitte Global, our global businesses and engage with member firms to protect and preserve the Deloitte brand. This role is ideal for an individual looking for Deloitte Global experience.Responsibilities:
  • Leverage confidentiality and privacy expertise to advise on complex data risk matters and manage Data Risk Assessments for Deloitte Global’s business processes, services, and technologies.
  • Document and maintain assessments such as Data Protection Impact Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Legitimate Interest Assessments to inform data risk management strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner on higher-risk data deployments, solutions, and innovation projects.
  • Assist business and technology teams in incorporating data/privacy by design principles into processes and technologies.
  • Provide ongoing privacy compliance support and consultative guidance to business, technology teams, and member firm stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and consultations with competing deadlines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including legal, technology, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare privacy guidance documents, support ad hoc projects, and drive process efficiencies wherever possible.
About the teamGlobal Risk and Brand Protection develops programs, processes, and resources to preserve, protect, and enhance the Deloitte brand around the world. We identify new and emerging risks that might impact the network, mitigate threats as they are identified, proactively engage with regulators and key stakeholders to develop identification and mitigation regulations and procedures, and build a clear voice around select policy topics.Enough about us, let’s talk about youQualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field, with at least five years of relevant or transferable experience in data confidentiality, data privacy, data protection regulations, or innovative technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of GDPR and comparable privacy and data protection frameworks.
  • Experience documenting privacy risk assessments, including Data Protection Impact Assessments and Legitimate Interest Assessments.
  • Strong understanding of technology and security issues affecting privacy programs, supported by excellent program and consultation management skills, independent judgment, risk evaluation, and ability to drive issues to resolution.
  • Proven ability to develop management and leadership reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to clearly explain strategic data protection topics, regulations, and risk concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience with strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams under tight deadlines, navigate ambiguity, and anticipate needs proactively.

  • Experience juggling multiple priorities, delivering against aggressive deliverable timelines, and reporting on the status of multiple workstreams.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills with an ability to prioritize and navigate competing/challenging deadlines.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
