By having everyone on campus together, we have been able to nurture a fantastic social and dynamic environment.About the role:This is a fixed term role.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES-Provide analytical and process leadership to sales teams, and Sales leadership.Lead an effective monthly forecasting process.Direct the annual budgeting process.Improve the ROI of our promotional spending by re-designing and implementing the promotional approval process to maintain tight control over spending.Coach sales teams to support development of financial acumen.Serve as a business partner to the Sales DirectorsProvide effective monthly performance reporting.Advisor and gatekeeper on the financials for sales activities like retailer expansion strategies, annual promotional calendars etc.Ensure the financial point of view is effectively represented in key decisionsLead and develop a team of Sales Finance AnalystsSupport close, effective collaboration between Sales Finance Analysts and Sales partners.Coaching of direct report to ensure their developmental progress and successes; Establish clear meaningful developmental plans for each direct report and provide coaching and support towards their progression.Build and motivate the team to serve as effective business partners for the Sales OrganizationFulfill other duties as needed.Month end reporting requirementsDevelop and recommend improvements to current operating proceduresSpecial projects and ad hoc analysisAbout you:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred8+ years' experience in an analytical finance role, preferably with a consumer goods organizationPrior experience in forecasting/ budgeting/planning processesExperience leading people and teams preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to clearly present and communicate complex data analysisAdvanced knowledge/ proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook requiredSAP experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAdaptable/flexible – able to multitaskProfessional/discreet/loyalTeam playerIngenious-empirical, disciplined and a problem solverAttuned-emotionally smart, having positive intentShrewd-make sound decisions, long-term commercial thinkingArchitect-setting and raising the bar, providing clarity and honest, coaching, developing talentDyson is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment that reflects the diversity of the community in which we live.
