- Develop and implement annual marketing plan, events, and budget.
- Prepare, monitor and maintain marketing budget, including assisting with financial reporting pertaining to variances, sales analysis and more.
- Implement promotions, which attract customers to the Centre and maximize income potential.
- Track progress and evaluate results of programs to determine effectiveness.
- Manage Gift Cards, & TangerClub.
- Liaise with shopping Centre staff, tenants, customers, and suppliers.
- Liaise with area businesses, events, tourist attractions, hotels and local chamber offices to encourage shopping visits.
- Assist in the design, content and creation of promotional materials.
- Work with media agency to develop targeted advertising/media plan.
- Manage internal and external promotional signage including billboards and digital directories.
- Maintain and update property website, Facebook, Instagram and external website listings.
- Actively create and sell media and sponsorship opportunities in order to achieve ancillary revenue goals.
- Perform accounting duties for marketing programs inclusive of payables, receivables, income statements and budget reconciliations.
- Cultivate strong tenant relations, work with General Manager to host quarterly meetings, communicate via newsletter and provide tenants with support needed to be successful
- Assist General Manager, Assistant Property Manager, & AVP Marketing as required.
- Other duties / projects as required.
- Completion of University/College Diploma or relevant Certificate Program;
- Minimum 4 years previous relevant experience in marketing, retail, or sales;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to successfully manage people;
- Up-to-date with innovative and current marketing trends;
- Intermediate to advances skills in Microsoft suite and social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Canva, etc;
- Strong focus on delivering results and providing exceptional customer service;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Detail oriented.
