
Finance Transformation Solution Architect (Pigment)

- Own the end-to-end management of the Pigment platform, ensuring its optimal performance, security, and scalability. This includes managing user access, permissions, and overall system health.
- Drive operational excellence by continuously evaluating and enhancing Pigment's capabilities to streamline financial and business processes, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy and availability.
- Influence strategic decisions by providing expert guidance on how Pigment can best support Lightspeed's long-term financial objectives, including advanced analytics and AI use cases.
- Build and configure complex Pigment models and applications to meet granular business requirements for budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Design and implement robust data connections with critical source systems like BigQuery, NetSuite, Workday and Salesforce, ensuring seamless, real-time data flow and integrity.
- Collaborate deeply with finance process owners and data SMEs to embed Lightspeed's intricate data structures, dimensionality, business rules, calculations, and financial logic directly into Pigment models.
- Develop and manage sophisticated forecasting processes and components, empowering users with controlled abilities to manage, override, and modify financial inputs.
- Cross-Functional Partnership & Transformation Catalyst:
- Acting as a pivotal technical and functional expert, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Finance Transformation and the FP&A team throughout the Pigment implementation project lifecycle, from rigorous requirements gathering and architectural design to meticulous testing and successful go-live.
- Identify and advocate for transformative opportunities within FP&A processes by fully leveraging Pigment's advanced capabilities, including sophisticated allocations, detailed segmentation, multi-currency management, and enhanced reporting dimensionality.
- Contribute to the strategic definition of Pigment's roadmap, exploring its potential for integrating with broader business systems (e.g., Workday, Coupa, Salesforce).
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and support materials, fostering a highly proficient and autonomous user base within Lightspeed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Pigment Certified Modeler certification; experience with comparable financial planning platforms (e.g.,Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, OneStream) is a valuable asset.
- 5+ years of experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading or significantly contributing to the implementation of enterprise-level financial planning systems.
- Demonstrated project management skills, specifically in collaborating closely with diverse business partners to define requirements, manage expectations, and deliver successful system solutions.
- Deep understanding of financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario modeling, and financial reporting. Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is considered a valuable asset.
- Proficiency in data integration concepts and experience with large dataset management and validation.
