Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.Reporting in the Director, I&D and Wellbeing, The Senior Associate, Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) and Wellbeing plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing initiatives that promote a culture of inclusion, belonging, and holistic wellbeing across the organization. This role serves as a key liaison for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), supports strategic programming, and contributes to data-driven insights that inform leadership decisions. The position enables senior leaders to focus on strategic planning by managing operational workload and ensuring seamless delivery of I&D and wellbeing initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Resource Group (ERG) LeadershipAct as the primary HR contact for all ERGs, offering strategic guidance and operational support.Develop and maintain ERG governance models, including chair tenure and succession planning.Ensure alignment of ERG activities with broader HR and I&D strategies.Wellbeing ProgrammingLead Wellness Wednesday initiatives, curating and sharing resources via Exchange Now and the Wellness Hub.Support planning and execution of Mental Health Awareness Week and Wellness Week.Coordinate employee engagement events such as “Ask Me Anything” sessions with internal stakeholdersMaintain wellbeing-related SharePoint sites and communication channels.Reporting & AnalyticsAnalyze employee experience data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.Prepare quarterly reporting packages for the I&D Council and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).Lead development and tracking of I&D goals for ELT and Executive Committee (EC) members.Provide analytics support for I&D Council subcommittees (e.g., Women in Investments, Mental Health and Truth & Reconciliation).Create tailored Employee Experience Survey (EES) packages for each ERG.Internal HR InitiativesPartner with Talent Acquisition on external I&D partnerships (e.g., IPAC, LIME Connect).Assist with the planning and execution of the annual OMERSx event, including speaker engagement and theme alignment with I&D strategy.Manage HR communications including weekly updates and Teams channel content.QualificationsA minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience in human resources, inclusion and diversity, wellbeing, or a related field is required. A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline is preferred.Demonstrated experience in analytical roles, with the ability to interpret and leverage data to inform strategic decisions.Proven ability in content creation and presentation development, including crafting engaging communications and producing executive-level presentation materials.Strong project management skills, with a track record of setting clear goals, managing timelines, and delivering results.Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in data analysis, reporting accuracy, and quality assurance.Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management, with the ability to foster positive connections with ERGs and wellness ambassadors.Familiarity with event planning and coordination, including organizing internal initiatives and supporting large-scale employee engagement eventsAs one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pension plans, our people-first culture is at its best when our workforce reflects the communities where we live and work — and the members we proudly serve.From hire to retire, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection process that extends all the way through your employee experience.
