Title: Training Service Lead
Location: Gatineau, QC Hybrid; 2-3 Days onsite

Enbridge Gas Quebec (EGQ) is migrating to the SAP ISU solution, and the business users participating in UAT have subject matter expertise on business processes, however they do not have any prior exposure to SAP.

Services / Role Objective
This service/role provides targeted SAP enablement support to help UAT business users develop the foundational SAP literacy they need before receiving formal EGQ SAP solution training from the project’s Training TeamIt focuses on building comfort and confidence in navigating SAP GUI across key IS-U process areas—CRM, Device Management, Billing, FICA—and using SAP standard reports.Strong foundational literacy will ensure UAT business users are familiar with the SAP interface, basic navigation, and system interactions, enabling them to be better prepared for formal project training and more effective during UAT.Scope of Work & Responsibilities
  • Curriculum & Session Delivery (Foundational SAP and ISU Process Execution)
o Build and deliver structured training (groups up to ~20) covering but not limited to:
SAP GUI for Windows (and SAP Fiori, if applicable): logon, layout, menus, favorites, toolbar, tabs, ALV grids, variants, search/help, personalization.
Navigation & Productivity: transaction codes (T codes), fast paths, favorites, status bar messages, error handling, field help (F1/F4), using variants/layouts, printing/export to Excel.
Reports & Inquiry: running standard queries/reports, ALV sorting/filters/subtotals, saving layouts, variants, and basic reporting concepts in IS U.
ISU Context Awareness: what screens mean, where common functions live, how to interpret key fields and statuses from an end-user perspective.
o Conduct hands-on walkthroughs in the training environment; ensure exercises are realistic and aligned to UAT needs.
o Facilitate Q&A clinics; provide 1:1 coaching where needed.Pre-UAT Readiness & Coaching
  • Establish a readiness plan and schedule to bring users from “SAP 101” to “UAT-ready basics.”
  • Create job aids, quick reference guides (QRGs), checklists, and short how-to videos or tip sheets.
  • Track attendance, questions, and user progress; maintain a FAQ and known issues/tips list.
Collaboration with Project Teams
  • Partner with SAP Functional Teams (IS U device management, customer management/CRM, FI CA, billing, reporting) to clarify solution specifics as required
  • Review BPDs (Business Process Documents) and Functional Specifications to understand solution context at a high level and reflect that context in examples and exercises.
  • Align with the Project Training Lead to avoid overlap, confirm scope boundaries (pre-UAT vs. formal solution training), and contribute to SAP 101 modules as requested.
  • Provide weekly status updates (progress, risks, blockers, user feedback) and propose improvement actions.
First Line Support for SAP Basics
  • Act as the first point of contact for users’ SAP navigation/how SAP works questions while they practice in the training environment.
  • Triage and route solution-specific questions to the appropriate functional owners; follow through to closure.
Key Deliverables
  • Pre-UAT SAP Readiness Plan (curriculum, schedule, topics, logistics)
  • Training Materials & Collateral (slide decks, QRGs, job aids, FAQs, short videos as feasible)
  • Session Delivery (rosters, attendance logs, recordings where permitted)
  • Office Hours/Q&A Clinics (schedule, questions log, resolutions)
  • Readiness Tracking Dashboard (attendance, engagement, self-assessment/quiz results, themes)
  • Weekly Status Reports (progress, risks/issues, actions, decisions required)
  • Handover Package for the Training Lead (artifacts, FAQs, observed gaps to inform formal training)
Mandatory Qualifications
  • SAP Proficiency:
o Strong, hands-on SAP ISU experience with practical user navigation across:
Device Management, Customer Management/CRM, FI CA, Billing/Invoicing, and basic reporting.
o Ability to independently navigate SAP GUI, demonstrate key T codes, run reports/ALV, create variants, and explain screen elements/end user impacts.
  • Training & Enablement Experience:
o 3–5+ years delivering end-user enablement, foundation training, or UAT readiness coaching in SAP contexts.
o Proven ability to design and deliver small group, hands-on sessions and create practical job aids
  • Soft Skills:
o Self-starter, highly organized, attention to detail, strong facilitation and interpersonal skills; people first mindset with patience for true beginners.
o Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts into plain language.
  • Language:
o Fluency in English required. French highly desirableDependencies & Access (Provided by Client)
