The Data Acquisition and Instrumentation Lead will be responsible for a small team of engineers working on the instrumentation and data acquisition of Stellantis vehicles.

Instrumentation includes, strain gauges, loadcells, Wheel Force Transducers, accelerometers and CAN.
Post processing and data analysis of data.
Collecting data at offsite proving grounds.
Working within a larger team to support CAE, Chassis, Road Test Simulation and other stake holders.
Working with and training junior engineers and union technicians.

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 5 years of auto industry testing, durability or instrumentation/DAQ experience.
Good knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience in root cause and issue resolution.
Ability to travel to the USA.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and data acquisition, auto industry system/full vehicle durability testing.
Experience with strain gauging, Wheel force transducers, loadcells, accelerometer and CAN.
Familiar with CAE and durability loads.
Experience with various types of data acquisition hardware as well as data analysis and post processing using either N-Code or RPC software.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, presentation, organization and communication skills.
