- Ensures safe and reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements. Conducts fleet evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met
- Ensures vehicle and drive management systems are effectively utilized
- Manages maintenance to ensure performance and cost focus across the area
- Reviews capital equipment requisitions in line with Corporate guidelines and objectives
- Manages effective utilization of vehicle assets
- Ensures maintenance shops are adequately staffed and mechanics are properly trained
- 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role within the transportation and logistics industry
- Bilingual; English & French
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with MS Office and fleet management software
