- Lead, coach, and develop a team of hourly employees to deliver quality, productivity, and process improvement objectives.
- Own quality performance within assigned product lines, including customer issue resolution, internal corrective actions, and error‑proofing initiatives.
- Partner with production to drive tactical and strategic problem solving using tools such as QPS, 8D, Kaizen, DOE, and root‑cause analysis.
- Strengthen supplier quality through MRB participation and collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive corrective actions.
- Implement, maintain, and improve training and quality control plans to ensure early detection and containment of defects.
- Support new product introductions by leading quality planning activities (FMEAs, internal PPAPs) through the CPD process.
- Contribute to Cambridge's role as a Global Center of Excellence by supporting standardization, best‑practice sharing, and technology transfer.
- Enhance and sustain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) through audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement and productivity initiatives aligned with the Rockwell Production System (RPS).
- Foster an inclusive, transparent culture built on trust, open dialogue, and continuous feedback.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience

- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years management experience.
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Applied Sciences, or other relevant fields).
- 5+ years of Quality engineering experience in manufacturing environments, with applied knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma methodologies.
- PEO P.Eng. license, and designations in American Society for Quality (ASQ) and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
- Working experience in Engineered-to-Order (ETO) Electrical/Electronic systems manufacturing, working in environments with formal quality management (ISO9001) & production systems.
- Experience communicating clear, concise technical summaries to all levels of the organization.
- Experience effectively navigating ambiguity, managing change, and influencing stakeholders through transitions.
- Can implement solutions and achieve the defined company and departmental objectives and goals with limited supervision.
- Proficient in the use of computer software programs including MS Office. Prior use of Minitab statistical software, MS Project, MS Visio, & SAP.
- Working knowledge of GD&T.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
