- Assist other members of the Project Management Office (PMO) Team on contract close out.
- Assist in development and maintenance of Change Team related performance metrics.
- Develop and process change notices and requests.
- Provide the Project Controls Manager with SME knowledge of the change processes.
- Assist in project information management including process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development & maintenance of all change metrics, reports, and contract deliverables.
- Maintain strong relationships with other team members as well as outside stakeholders such as subcontractors and customer representatives.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all working practices, standards of discipline, safety and quality, are maintained through familiarisation and compliance with the requirements of extant Corporate Procedures.
- 2+ years relevant experience, such as:
- Experience in project planning, project management and/or change control would be an asset (preferred but not necessary),
- Experience working in a capital project of in a ship repair yard (an asset), and/or
- Experience working with Royal Canadian Navy or the Department of National Defence (an asset).
- Either:
- a post secondary degree, or
- a post secondary diploma plus a certified project management designation such as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or a Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (required).
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communication to all levels of stakeholders (required).
- Experience using IT systems to control work packages (an asset).
- You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance (required)
