We are committed to excellence and building long-term relationships with our clients.Role DescriptionThis role is suited for advisors with existing practices or ready to build their own successful practice on a 100% commission-based compensation structure with an industry leading competitive grid. This is a full-time role located in our Calgary, AB office, offering the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement. As an Investment Advisor at Ventum Financial you will be responsible for providing personalized financial planning and investment advice, managing client portfolios, developing investment strategies aligned with each client’s financial goals and ability to use our internal Financial Planning and Portfolio Strategy partners. The role includes collaborating closely with clients to address their financial needs, identifying growth opportunities, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a regulated book of business.The role may also offer opportunity in succession planning, both in acquiring a book of business and ability for a gradual transition period for planned retirementIf you are looking for an entrepreneurial role where you operate autonomously, requiring you to actively acquire and develop your own client base to drive your business and determine your earning potential. Expertise in Financial Planning, Investments, and Investment Strategies
Comprehensive knowledge of finance and financial markets
Exceptional Customer Service and relationship management skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities
Licensed to provide investment advice (e.g., CIRO RR licensing, and other relevant designations/certificates)
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Prior experience in a financial advisory or wealth management role is an asset
Technological proficiency with investment software and tools
