Service Coordinator - Richmond, BC (vehicle required as the location is not easily transit accessible)Are you a highly organized professional who enjoys problem-solving and keeping service operations running smoothly? We are looking for a Service Coordinator to join Haakon Mechanical Services in Richmond, BC.About the Opportunity:In this role, you'll be the central point of contact for customers and field teams, ensuring service requests are handled efficiently and professionally. You'll coordinate schedules, support technicians in the field, and help deliver a seamless customer experience across commercial service operations.What We Offer:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming customer calls and service inbox, triaging and responding to inquiries
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer requests, updates, and issue resolution
  • Schedule, prioritize, and dispatch service technicians to commercial job sites
  • Adjust schedules to accommodate urgent or emergency service needs
  • Confirm appointments, follow up on open work orders, and provide status updates
  • Support permit applications and other operational requirements
  • Assist the Service Manager with scheduling, reporting, and service tracking
  • Contribute to process improvements and development of standard operating procedures
Qualifications:
  • Experience in over-the-phone customer service, dispatching, or service coordination
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally
  • Experience in skilled trades or mechanical service environments is an asset (not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or service management systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable handling customer concerns with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, or willingness to learn
Additional Details:
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, regular business hours
  • Location: Richmond, BC (full-time, on-site)
  • Immediate opening with interviews being scheduled right away
