About Our ClientOur client, a manufacturing organization located in Scarborough, is hiring a Cost Accountant to join their growing accounting team for a permanent position.Responsibilities:The Cost Accountant will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions, including but not limited to:
  • Maintain bill of materials
  • Sales, margin, and cost variance analysis
  • Process improvement recommendations to enhance the current costing process
  • Ad hoc projects as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CPA, CGA, CMA designation or pursuing, but NOT a deal breaker
  • 5+ years’ previous experience in manufacturing and costing
  • Advanced to Expert MS Excel knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills are paramount for this role
