Leadership & StrategyLead and mentor a cross-functional team of server, storage, and network professionals, including internal staff, contractors, and MSPs.Develop and execute an integrated infrastructure roadmap aligned with business goals and emerging technologies.Collaborate with IT leaders and business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure supports strategic priorities, operational continuity, and modernization.Promote a positive, delivery-oriented team culture grounded in ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.Infrastructure Services (Server, Storage, Cloud)Manage the lifecycle and performance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), including compute, storage, backup, virtualization, and DR.Ensure server and storage platforms deliver high availability, performance, and compliance with security standards.Support hybrid work environments through modern collaboration infrastructure.Drive adoption of automation and cloud-native technologies to enhance agility and cost-efficiency.Network Services (LAN/WAN, Data Center, Wireless)Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, wireless, cloud, data center).Ensure continuous monitoring, availability, and optimization of network performance and security, especially in high-availability airport or enterprise environments.Implement and manage segmentation, redundancy, QoS, and failover mechanisms to maintain operational continuity.Security & ComplianceEnforce best practices for infrastructure and network security, including NAC, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption, and patch management.Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, GDPR).Managed Services & Vendor OversightManage vendor and MSP relationships to ensure SLA compliance and high service quality.Monitor vendor performance using KPIs and take corrective actions where necessary.Evaluate and adopt innovative vendor technologies to support operational excellence and digital transformation.Operational ExcellenceDevelop and enforce SOPs, infrastructure policies, and technical standards across domains.Manage infrastructure monitoring, alerting, reporting, and capacity planning using tools such as SolarWinds, Veeam, PRTG, and others.Provide regular reporting on infrastructure and network health, project progress, and risks to leadership.Provide infrastructure design support for solutions delivered to business units, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards.What you must have:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Industry certifications, including Microsoft, VMware, Cisco CCNA and CCIE, and Fortinet NSE (Firewall certification).Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing enterprise server, storage, and network infrastructure in complex, regulated environments such as aviation, government, or financial services.Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and delivering cross-functional infrastructure projects.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure and AWS), network virtualization technologies (e.g., Cisco ACI), and hybrid infrastructure architectures.Technical Expertise
