Facility Caretaker

• Provide a presence in the facility and serve as a welcoming point of contact for gym users.
• Clean up and put equipment away after usage.
• Educate facility users about rules and guidelines.
• Ensure that locker and shower rooms are clean and maintained.
• Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming.
• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary.
• Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper. Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational condition of the pool and hot tub.
• Complete the Connect Team Report.
• Perform a security sweep of the facility.
• Confirm that the facility is vacant at closing time.

• The gym facility is vacant.
• Any equipment issues are reported.
• Locker rooms and showers are clean.
• The pool and hot tub are in good working order and clean.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Hands-on approach to facility cleanliness and maintenance.
• Strong computer skills to manage reporting and digital systems used for daily tasks.
