As the Operations Manager, you will oversee site manufacturing processes, champion operational efficiency, and safeguard food safety across all facility functions. You will be accountable for effective resource utilization, maintenance of assets, and compliance with regulatory standards while building and sustaining a high-performance culture among plant staff.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and direct daily facility operations to ensure manufacturing targets for safety, quality, and productivity are consistently met.Oversee inventory management, raw material sourcing, production scheduling, and order fulfillment for domestic and international clients.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize process efficiency and asset reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, logistics, and corporate leadership, to implement best operational practices.Ensure ongoing compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental regulations.Coach, mentor, and develop frontline supervisors and team members, fostering accountability, engagement, and teamwork across the site.Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular reports for management.Support budget planning, cost control, and capital project execution as needed.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Engineering, Business, Food Science, or a related field.5+ years of progressive operations management experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or milling environment.Proven leadership skills managing teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong knowledge of operational excellence methodology (Lean, Six Sigma) and regulatory frameworks for health, safety, and food quality.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
