- Service and commissioning of Epiroc products.
- Perform audits and preventive maintenance on Epiroc products.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Document and report technical product issues.
- Establish a good working relationship with customers.
- Establish a good working relationship with your co-workers.
- Creating and updating daily service reports.
- Work with customers' operations departments to ensure levels are set up to meet the meet their production timelines.
- Work with customers' mobile planning department to ensure automation preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs are conducted in conjunction with mechanical PM's schedule.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work within and promote a supportive and innovative team culture.
- Perform other relevant tasks and duties as assigned by the manager.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience within the mining industry is an asset.
- Experience in automation.
- Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician or Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic certification is an asset.
- Electronics or electrical engineering technician or technologist diploma.
- Strong electronics and instrumentation knowledge.
- Possess a valid vehicle driver's licence.
- Strong knowledge of Epiroc's services and products is an asset.
- Proven and motivated self-starter who is driven to achieve client satisfaction targets and is able to work independently and in a team environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, etc.
- A strong understanding of network infrastructures.
- Time management skills.
- Strong numerical ability and reasoning skills.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and to go on site.
- Fluent in both English and French would be is an asset.
