- Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks and technology standards for digital and AI solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA AI/ML guidance).
- Oversee the modernization and compliance of the vendor portfolio, ensuring technology solutions meet McKesson’s standards for security, interoperability, and scalability.
- Facilitate discussions on AI governance, ethical considerations, and strategic alignment across all business units.
- Evaluate, recommend, and drive vendor selection strategy with Clinical, Business, and IT leaders.
- Manage relationships with strategic technology partners, biopharma companies, regulatory bodies, and healthcare providers.
- Oversee the operational aspects of oncology services, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient resource utilization.
- Develop multi-year product and strategy roadmaps, define pilot programs, and maintain product playbooks to refresh and modernize technology offerings.
- Identify, research, and evaluate emerging AI technologies and trends relevant to oncology and specialty healthcare.
- Lead identification of early AI use cases, pilot programs, and cross-functional initiatives to drive responsible exploration and adoption of AI across all business units.
- Design and deliver educational programs, workshops, and resources to upskill internal teams on AI concepts, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant on AI-related topics, promoting a culture of responsible AI awareness and literacy.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize oncology care delivery, leveraging digital and AI innovations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on digital and AI strategy, readiness, and market developments.
- Produce strategic insights, white papers, and executive-level presentations to inform leadership and guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with external partners, academic institutions, and industry groups to stay at the forefront of AI and digital innovation.
- Shape customer-centric product roadmaps, set KPIs, and execute product innovation through technology partnerships.
- Drive research and development initiatives, focusing on novel therapies, clinical trial designs, and improved patient access.
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and adjust strategies to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Lead workshops and problem-solving sessions with internal and external stakeholders to unleash creativity and drive strategic improvements.
- 7+ years of experience in technology strategy, AI, or Tech environments, including ongoing guidance.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies (machine learning, NLP, generative AI), clinical development, and regulatory environments.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on digital and AI strategy, readiness, and market developments.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, product management, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; ability to influence senior executive leadership and translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated strengths in working along with people, mentoring teams, and driving organizational change.
