- Translating complex business requirements into well-defined technical and functional specifications that development and delivery teams can execute against
- Improving operational efficiency through analysis and optimization of business processes, reducing manual effort, rework, and system friction
- Reducing delivery and execution risk by ensuring requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business, technology, and compliance expectations
- Accelerating value realization by supporting timely delivery of technology solutions that meet business needs and improve user experience
- Strengthening cross-functional collaboration by acting as a trusted partner between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology delivery teams
- Supporting sustainable change through documentation, testing support, and knowledge transfer that enable smooth adoption of new or enhanced systems
- A bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business systems analysis or a related
- Experience working in the Financial Services or Financial Technologies industries with a focus on Payments & Compliance Technology
- Data-driven mindset, with an ability to analyze transaction data and resolve discrepancies
- End-to-end systems thinking, understanding upstream and downstream impacts
- PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) designation or similar is an asset
- Customer-centric – you define and measure success through the eyes of your internal customers and anticipate, understand and respond to their evolving needs.
- Results-oriented – you have a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders in order to conduct diagnosis, analyze findings, generate appropriate options, and build deliverables all while securing their commitment to these solutions.
- Technology savvy – you have education and/or experience supporting technology development/ implementation efforts.
- Analytical – you seek to facilitate data-driven decision making, including “rolling up your sleeves” to collect data, research and build models.
- A project manager – you can shift from big-picture to detail effortlessly and use your planning & organizational skills to achieve your objectives in a logical sequence.
