- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and potential client contacts, understanding business challenges and aligning solutions effectively
- Prospect, qualify and close new business, performing sales activities on targeted businesses
- Learn industry trends and build on customer needs
- Lead negotiations of new client contracts, working with internal stakeholders on pricing as required
- Maintain awareness of the end date of existing service contracts, allowing for new ones to be negotiated
- Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate consistent branding and messaging to potential clients
- Maintain a potential client pipeline in the CRM and provide weekly updates
- Ensure complete and accurate client records within the CRM
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
- Review progress of sales revenue against targets
- Work with the Finance and Operational Managers to create a strategic plan for any roll outs of new clients or client locations for flawless transitions
- This role requires approximately 20% travel within local region (daily travel within local city/area) and up to 40% travel within Eastern Canada.
- Must maintain a driver's license that meet's Scandinavian's requirements; must have a good driving record with no major offenses
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in business-to-business sales as a primary function
- Completion of a degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
- Previous experience creating and implementing sales plans with external stakeholders
- 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
- 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
- 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
