- Manage several project managers, each responsible for an element of the program and its associated project team.
- Manage high profile projects and associated project teams.
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage the program/projects during the initiation, planning, development, implementation and operations startup by ensuring that resources are made available and that the program is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters.
- Formulate statements of problems, establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtains approval thereof.
- Define and document the objectives for the program; determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the program team.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program and project risks.
- Report progress of the program and projects to program/project governance an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the lifecycle.
- Meets in confidence stakeholders and other project managers and states problems in a form capable of being solved.
- Prepare plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.
- Work with a variety of program and/or project management tools.
- Demonstrate in depth experience and knowledge of program and project management practices and trends.
- Must have 15+ years experience within the last 20 years in a Senior Project Management, Program Management or Portfolio Management role.
- Must have played a leading role as a Program Manager in at least 5 IM/IT projects in the last 7 years.
- Must have 2+ years of experience managing programs/projects involving the ServiceNow platform.
- Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a university degree in project management.
- Must have a College Diploma or University Degree.
- Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
- Experience with the Federal Government, Crown Corp or other Public Sector is strongly preferred.
