Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive patrols across academic buildings and grounds
  • Responding to medical and safety incidents with empathy and professionalism
  • Supporting residence and community event safety
  • Liaising with municipal parks authorities and provincial bodies for maintaining trail safety
  • Enforcing fishing and forestry safety.
  • Working closely with supervised farm animals, pets and wildlife (beavers, foxes,
  • coyotes, etc.)
  • Managing lost and found, parking, and access
  • Collaborating with staff and local emergency responders
Qualifications
  • Ontario Security Guard License
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, diverse campus demands
  • Outdoor adventure seeker
  • Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
  • Must not be a current Seneca student at King Campus
