- Ensure work procedures are followed and safety standards are adhered to (risk assessments, incident reporting & investigating, policy & procedures review, MOC, etc.) to realize zero incidents or injuries across the team.
- Conduct survey tasks to inform planning and execution: drill hole staking, grade (or level) staking, dig boundary staking, pickups of dig advance and waste rock construction advance and pickups of water levels.
- Conduct sampling activities to inform planning and execution: sample collection, delivery of samples to the on-site laboratory, completing and checking submittal paperwork and entry of assay results to databases.
- Collect field data, including but not limited to: thermistors, water flows, fragmentation photos, quality assurance, quality control of drill hole depths or blast tie-ins, etc.
- Maintain databases for various production and quality data.
- Verify, analyze and report on collected data. Main Qualifications:
- Diploma from a vocational institution (mining technician, geological technician, survey technician).
- Drone pilot license is an asset.
- Minimum three (3) years of General mining and / or survey and / or ore quality experience

- Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbal, for conveying ideas, instructions, and information to colleagues, external parties, and superiors.

Takes proactive steps to identify and address challenges, propose improvements, and contribute beyond your assigned tasks demonstrates initiative.

- Attention to Detail skills: Ability to be precise and minimize errors to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Digital Literacy skills: Knowledge of digital tools and technology. Proficient with standard office software such as Microsoft Office, Trimble, Hexagon Minesite or AutoCAD, Epiroc, survey instruments (GPS, station, etc.), field instruments, etc.
- Time Management/Organisation skills: Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure that work is completed effectively and deadlines are met.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in the arctic environment through all seasons, to walk over broken and uneven ground, to lift up to 25 kg. Job Location: Mary River Mine Site, NU, Canada Compensation:
