Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the Mine Technician provides drafting and data analysis support for engineering and mine operations.This is a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotational position based in Geraldton, Ontario.Key Responsibilities

Draft and update engineering plans.
Manage data related to tramp metal, misfires, and other elements.
Process and prepare survey data.
Maintain accurate survey information and produce month-end volumes.
Perform field verifications.
Manage dig permits and infrastructure maps.
Create and modify work procedures.
Prepare presentations.
Maintain accurate and complete records.
Assist the drill and blast team with drill plans, loading instructions, and blast timing.
Assist the field survey team as required.

Required Experience and Skill Set

Strong commitment to safety.
Proficiency in CAD software; Deswik preferred.
Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office suite.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and self-motivation.
Good analytical skills.
Rigorous attention to detail.
Willingness to adapt and work in an inclusive work environment.
Mining Technician Diploma, a related degree program, or sufficient relevant experience.
Experience with survey equipment and techniques.
Experience in open pit mining; hard-rock gold mining is preferred.

The salary range for this position is from $85,024.00 to $103,918.40.
