Site Services Technician/Equipment Operator

• Repairing, servicing, and rebuilding equipment as directed.
• Actively participating in developing and building preventative maintenance schedules and objectives.
• Supporting all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and construction initiatives.
• Install, maintain, modify, and repair machinery and stationary equipment.
• Troubleshoot production problems and take preventative or corrective action as required.
• Perform operational equipment checks.
• Repair indoors and outdoors piping and pumping systems
• Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare mechanical maintenance reports.
• Operate Mobile equipment and assist mine and plant operations where possible.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
• Follow health and safety policies to ensure safety and environmental protection.
• Collaborate with planning departments and shop personnel to ensure maintenance requirements are met.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing maintenance requirements.

• Heavy Equipment Operator experience within a site services mining environment
• 5+ years of relevant professional work experience

• Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with track record of successfully working independently.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• This position is based in Geraldton, Ontario.

• Valid driver's license.
