- Drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements (confidentiality, services, procurement, licensing, leases).
- Drafting letters of intent, purchase/sale agreements, and other transactional documents.
- Conducting due diligence in collaboration with internal teams.
- Providing legal support throughout the transaction process, from initial assessment to closing.
- Supporting operational teams in managing disputes prior to formal proceedings.
- Drafting demand letters and settlement agreements.
- Supporting Human Resources in employment termination matters and internal conflict management.
- Drafting and reviewing employment letters and contractual clauses (non competition, non solicitation).
- Responding to occasional labour law questions. Qualifications:
- Member of the Quebec Bar.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience, primarily gained in a law firm, with exposure to commercial transactions.
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple files simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and legal simplification skills, supporting exchanges with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of privacy and intellectual property considered an asset.
- Pragmatic approach, focused on efficiently resolving legal issues.
- Demonstrates professional rigor and attention to detail in analysis and drafting.
- Bilingualism required (French and English), both spoken and written.
