This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of strategic and operational projects while working alongside experience professionals who are passionate about public service and innovation.What You’ll Be DoingAs part of our team, you will support client engagements and internal initiatives by:Delivering high-quality consulting services in areas such as organizational and technology transformation, strategic and business planning, operational reviews, change management, and program/project management.Conducting research, analysis, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.Developing client-ready presentations, reports, and other deliverables using MS Office and collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).Supporting workshops, interviews, and working sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.Building relationships with clients and contributing to the development of practical, lasting solutions.Collaborating with cross-functional teams across BDO, including Risk Advisory and Digital Consulting practices.Contributing to business development efforts such as thought leadership, proposal development, and internal knowledge sharing.Recent Projects Our Team Has Worked OnSupporting the implementation and adoption of a leading Human Capital Management (HCM) solution through tailored change management strategies.Developing a strategic plan and performance measurement framework for a federal government department, including jurisdictional scanning and SWOT/PESTEL analysis.Creating a business case and investment plan to secure central agency approvals for a five-year capital program at a federal institution.Assessing project management maturity and organizational capabilities in a complex IT-enabled transformation environment.Designing and administering a province-wide survey to support cost-of-production analysis for a commodity sector on behalf of a not-for-profit commission.What Success Looks LikeYou demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect, and Collaboration.You understand your client’s needs, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and empathetic.You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients.You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent.You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace.You grow your expertise through learning and professional development.What We’re Looking ForWe are seeking motivated and curious individuals who are eager to explore a career in consulting and make an impact in the public sector.
