Niagara Falls, Ontario | On-Site | Full-Time | Direct HireA large, unionized chemical manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Operational Maintenance Manager to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and drive improvements across HSE, reliability, productivity, and manufacturing excellence.
This role is a key member of the site leadership team and reports directly to the Site Director.What you’ll do
Lead and develop the operational maintenance organization
Own site maintenance performance: safety, quality, cost, uptime, and reliability
Manage reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs
Drive LEAN, continuous improvement, and zero-defect initiatives
Oversee MRO strategy, critical spares, and storehouse inventory
Lead within a unionized workforce and partner cross-functionally with reliability, operations, and shutdown teamsWhat we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
10+ years of maintenance, engineering, and leadership experience
Chemical or process manufacturing background strongly preferred
Proven union leadership experience
Strong communicator with a hands-on, results-driven leadership styleWhat’s offered
