Adecco on behalf of our client is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager - Facilities for a full-time position supporting a large client in Ottawa. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven and client-focused leader with strong experience in facilities management and hospitality-driven service delivery who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing client relationships, and ensuring financial performance across multiple service lines. You will play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, supporting on-site teams, and maintaining high standards of service quality and client satisfaction.Salary: $65-75K/yearLocation: Ottawa, ONSchedule: Flexibility required, including occasional weekends and extended hoursJob Type: Permanent | Full-timeVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Responsibilities:Lead revenue growth and ensure profitability for the assigned accountAct as the primary client contact, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strong relationship managementOversee daily operations across housekeeping and maintenance/handyman service linesLead, mentor, and support on-site managers and their teamsManage staffing levels and workforce planning in alignment with seasonal demandsOversee resource planning, scheduling, and overall operational executionMaintain high service quality standards with a strong hospitality mindsetDrive client satisfaction, issue resolution, and long-term account retentionOversee financial responsibilities including month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll oversightEnsure compliance with safety, quality assurance, and government contract requirementsSupport recruitment, onboarding, and training initiativesIdentify opportunities for operational improvement and account growthRequirements:Minimum 2+ years of operational experience in Facilities ManagementExperience managing large on-site teams; multi-site experience is an assetStrong hospitality or service-oriented backgroundBilingual in French and English (required)Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentData-driven mindset with the ability to leverage technology for decision-makingUnderstanding of technical and operational service deliveryFlexibility to work extended hours during peak periods, including occasional weekendsAbility to travel overnight as requiredMust be able to pass a Federal Criminal Background CheckMust have a clean driver's abstractMust be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.Interested in this position?
