Prepares or review estimates, proposals, and manages projects related to the pharmaceutical and nuclear facility systems. Interfaces with the site landlord on nuclear and pharmaceutical facility systems as the single point of contact for BWXT facilities support.Location:On-site in Kanata, OntarioYour Day to Day as a Facilities Manager:
- Accountable for the completion of project related to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, these may include:
- nuclear support systems.
- replacement of obsolete equipment.
- Facility renovations.
- Responsible to lead estimation, planning, and vendor selection for projects.
- Manages scope, budget, and schedule for approved projects.
- Manages field activities.
- Interfaces with internal stakeholders.
- Accountable for managing BWXT's facilities relationship with the site landlord.
- Ensures that the site landlord performs tasks, as required to support manufacturing.
- Single Point of Contact for facilities related communication for the Kanata facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics required
- Leadership/Management Skills
- 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Facilities Maintenance experience.
- Experience with managing service agreements from vendors.
- Capable of leading a team of Engineers and Technicians.
- Experience with construction projects.
- Optional: Proven experience in any of the following: WFI systems, Electrical Distribution, Clean Steam, Pharma HVAC, Nuclear HVAC.
