Brief Description:Our employer is a dynamic and inclusive Modern Orthodox synagogue, they are looking for a full-time Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of our administrative staff, supporting the daily operations of the synagogue, acting as a front-line representative to members and visitors, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.Job Function:
  • Deliver exceptional member services and front-desk reception
  • Provide administrative support to staff and clergy
  • Prepare professional communications and promotional materials, including flyers and other digital or print content
  • Use desktop publishing tools (e.g. Canva) to support internal and external communications
  • Coordinate day-to-day tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Serve as a central point of contact for programs, events, and inquiries

Job Requirement:
  • Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing tools, including Canva
  • Be highly detail-oriented, especially with numbers and data
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Be able to read Hebrew; verbal fluency is an asset
  • Have a solid understanding of the Jewish calendar and Jewish holidays
  • Be aligned with and committed to the values and mission of the synagouge
  • Hold a college diploma or equivalent experience in administration or a related field
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant office administration experience
  • Be proficient in desktop publishing
