Working closely with project managers, site staff, consultants, and clients, you will help ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.About the Position
- Assist project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Maintain and track project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and schedule.
- Support procurement activities including the preparation of tender documents, tracking of bids, and issuance of purchase orders.
- Monitor construction schedules and assist with updates, identifying potential risks or delays and supporting mitigation efforts.
- Help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly project reports, budget tracking, and forecasting.
- Participate in project meetings and prepare/distribute accurate documentation and follow-up items.
- Conduct regular site visits (as needed) to monitor progress and support site coordination.
- Foster a collaborative and professional working environment aligned with the company's values and client-focused approach.
- 2+ years' of experience in a project coordination or construction support role, preferably within residential projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and industry terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of contract administration, procurement practices, and construction documentation.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE.
- 3-4 weeks' vacation.
