  • Customer Liaison: fielding calls pertaining to product quality, initiating investigations and as necessary corrective action to restore customer confidence and ensure quality product is made.
  • Prepare Quality System (QS9000), Advance Quality Planning, control processes and PPAP documentation.
  • Initiate investigations and developing responses to prevent and/or correct non-conforming product
  • Developing systems that identify and record any problems related to product, process and quality systems, ensuring those systems include verification of preventative/corrective actions
  • Supervises reporting staff and ensures all levels of staff receive sufficient communication, orientation or training in quality programs/principles;
  • Responsible for the control of process, delivery of non-conforming products
  • Undertakes continuous improvement projects: APQP, QS9000, Q1, PSO and others as required;
  • Ensures continuing conformance to all applicable standards and requirements.​
Qualifications:
  • Progressively responsible management experience in manufacturing and quality programming; Knowledge of quality systems, statistical measurements and quality tools/standards: QS9000, FMEA, Process Flow Design, Control Planning and PPAP. Possession of or progress toward a professional designation e.g. Engineering or ASQC (American Society for Quality Control)
  • Team Leadership Abilities; Project Management Skills, organizational and communications skills.
