Location: Canada (Relocation Support Available)We are seeking a driven Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for supervising unionized trades personnel and coordinating external contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. You will play a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, controlling maintenance costs, and supporting overall production goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a unionized maintenance team and contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficientlyEnforce compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, holding team members accountable to established standardsCoordinate and execute preventive and routine maintenance activities in collaboration with operations and planning teamsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, cost reduction, and production performanceMentor, coach, and develop team members through active engagement, observation, and feedbackEnsure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all maintenance activitiesQualifications:Red Seal trade certification, mechanical engineering diploma/degree, or minimum 2+ years supervising trades in a unionized industrial settingStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teamsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a high-demand environmentHighly organized with strong planning, delegation, and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with CMMS systemsLegally authorized to work in Canada at the time of applicationWhat’s Offered:Competitive compensation and comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefitsDefined benefit pension planPaid vacation and relocation assistanceThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader passionate about safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a dynamic industrial setting.
