
2026 Winter - GRM, Enterprise Risk Intern (4 Months)

- Conduct analysis, research, and collaborate with other team members – to explore, understand, and assess the implications of enterprise-level risks on the financial sector and RBC’s portfolios.
- Perform data analysis, leveraging data from both internal and external sources to understand top and emerging risks.
- Prepare insightful and easy-to-understand slides and related materials to present the risks and analysis to senior leadership.
- Explain the insights and analysis to team members and stakeholders.
- Assist with the development and expansion of internal capabilities to leverage relevant internal and external data, to support the team’s readiness to leverage those data inputs in future analyses.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research and learn quickly about unfamiliar topics and approach them in a resourceful manner.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of financial services industry with broad understanding of risk management and analytics.
- Pursuing a degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, or other related field of study.
- Previous work experience in analytics, in the context of data science, strategy, research, consulting, or similar discipline.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or other data querying tools.
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
