About the MC Program:The VML Marketing Coordinator Program is a large global community of approx. 600 employees sitting at the intersection of Microsoft Marketing and agency teams.We coordinate campaigns across Microsoft internal stakeholders, VML global Service Delivery Hub teams, and third-party agencies. Campaigns generate sales leads Microsoft then scores and processes according to their sales strategy.The Consumer discipline is an expertise group within the MC Program responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of Microsoft's global and local demand generation and engagement activities focused on the consumer segment.Purpose of the job:The Consumer Marketing Coordinator supports the planning and execution of Microsoft's activities, like digital and in-store content marketing, BTL campaigns, or Through-Partner activities, that result in engagement with Microsoft consumer products, such as Surface, Xbox, or Windows.In this role the Consumer MC acts primarily as a single point of contact for consumer marketing content localization and execution, plus as a project manager who co-ordinates internal VML resources, Microsoft stakeholders, and third-party vendors (e.g. creative and media agencies).Responsibilities:Marketing Impact
  • Assists in developing project and campaign plans
  • Executes BTL or Through-Partner campaigns supporting consumer products
  • Executes all activities to ensure consistent marketing across categories and channels
Campaign Coordination & Project Management
  • Act as Project Manager for activity execution and its results
  • Co-ordinates all parties involved in an activity - VML, Microsoft stakeholders, and third parties
Localization
  • Responsible for marketing asset localization review
  • Acts as a content gatekeeper for all marketing content requiring translation review and approval
  • Evaluates if content and messaging is appropriate for the market
Stakeholder Management
  • Advises stakeholders on overall activities execution processes, KPIs, deployment of tools and services
  • Acts as advisor on consumer marketing tools and services
Required skills & competencies :
  • Completed studies in any marketing-related field
  • Broad understanding of various marketing concepts, strategies and tactics, incl. marketing channels
  • 2+ years' experience in execution of marketing-related initiatives, incl. 1+ year experience with target audience segmentation, campaign success measurement, project or account management role
  • High level of compliance with company rules & processes, e. g. personal data protection or brand guidelines
  • Proven project management skills & experience, readiness to assume responsibility for own KPIs, track activities progress and meet critical deadlines
  • Solid skills in Microsoft tools and software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Solid command skills and ability to share often complex information in structured way
  • Comfort in dealing with client's and third-party stakeholders
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and activities, and ability to prioritize urgent and important tasks
  • A strong team player with ability to establish working relations with culturally diverse internal and external partners
  • Strong in problem solving skills and orientation to detail
  • Fluent English is essential (requirement for additional language skills may apply)
