- Lead project on-site delivery, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectations
- In partnership with the site Construction leadership team deliver project in accordance with Client and Company expectations
- Manage and be accountable to the Project contract, issue and manage subcontracts
- Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers to build leadership capability and bench strength
- Oversee project financial performance including forecasting, margin management, and cash flow optimization
- Govern risk, change management, and contract administration to protect commercial position
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting strategic growth and repeat business
- Coordinate resources, equipment, and procurement strategies across projects to optimize efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practice sharing across projects
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all work
- Support bid reviews, constructability input, and alignment between estimating and execution
- Post-Secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field
- 10 years of progressive experience in utility or linear infrastructure construction
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects
- Advanced understanding of contract management, project controls, and financial performance
- Experience leading teams and mentoring project staff
- PMP designation or equivalent
- Knowledge of commercial strategy, contract design, claims management, and dispute resolution
- Understanding of organizational risk management, insurance, and contractual risk mitigation
- Experience in transmission, distribution, or substation projects
- Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and ERP system
