- Work primarily underground, though some work on surface may be required.
- Work both individually and as part of a team to service underground heavy equipment, following our preventative maintenance schedule.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections, lubrications, troubleshoot equipment failures, complete overhauls, and conduct repair work as needed.
- Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson heavy duty equipment mechanic
- Five years of related experience with mine development mobile heavy equipment maintenance
- Ability to utilize OEM diagnostic software
- Team player with good communication skills
- Excellent safety record
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP
- Substance test

Salary Range: $144,884 per annumSafety Sensitive SitePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN).The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.The physical and psychological safety of our employees is a top priority at Cameco.
