- Support and manage research activities, including developing research protocols, supporting the design of intervention activities and implementation strategies, design and piloting surveys and interview guides,
- Support participant recruitment, conduct of surveys and interviews, engagement of non-academic partners, and organizing meetings.
- Perform qualitative data analysis, including preparing datasets, coding, and contributing to the development of thematic frameworks.
- Perform quantitative data analysis, including cleaning data, running descriptive and inferential statistics, and producing results tables and summaries.
- Prepare knowledge translation outputs, including writing academic papers and delivering presentations.
- Support and collaborate with research staff and trainees contributing to the research project.
- Prepare grant and fellowship applications.
- PhD in health or social sciences by the appointment start
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an academic research environment with leadership responsibilities.
- Experience or qualifications related to implementation science or intervention research.
- Excellent project management skills and experience managing staff or students, budgets, and other project resources.
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative data collection.
- Experience using qualitative (e.g., NVivo or Dedoose) and quantitative analytic software (e.g., Stata or R).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Publication record, including as first author, in peer-reviewed journals in the health or social sciences
- Mixed-methods research skills.
- Experience with grant writing.
- Experience conducting partnership-based research.
- A demonstrated interest in preventing violence against women and gender-based violence, supporting survivors of violence, or promoting gender and intersectional equity.
Salary Range/Pay Rate $70,000 per year plus benefits
