- Contribute to the corporate strategy by helping leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, structures, and processes to ensure business needs are aligned with corporate function strategies and equity.
- Serve as the primary interface with clients to manage key HR processes, identify business needs with HR strategy and policy implications, and provide direct support in the development and implementation of strategies aimed at organizational effectiveness.
- Coach and guide managers in key areas such as talent reviews, performance management, recruitment, application of HR policies, compensation, employee development, employment equity, mobility, and change management.
- Provide advice and support to managers regarding labour laws and the application of disciplinary and administrative measures.
- Work with the recruitment team and managers to ensure alignment on talent acquisition strategies and collaborate closely with other shared service groups (HR Analysts, Organizational Development, and Mobility).
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement long-term solutions.
- Lead initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement, strengthening organizational culture, and retaining top talent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management.
- Member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) order (an asset).
- Experience in a unionized environment and collective agreement negotiations (an asset).
- Excellent analytical and advisory service skills.
- Strong ability to build partnerships and establish trust with clients.
- Proven problem-solving and influencing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an HR team.
- Excellent judgment, discernment, listening skills, and business acumen.
- High capacity for work and absolute discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full proficiency in French and English (spoken and written). *
- Proficiency with MS Office and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
