- Transition from the 2022-2024 Strategic Framework to the 2025-2027 strategy, aligning with BC's business community needs.
- Develop and execute strategies for membership growth, sponsorship acquisition, and diversified revenue.
- Foster an agile and high-performance culture in a lean team structure.
- Ensure clear communication with the Board and provide strategic insights, financial updates, and operational reports.
- Build relationships with business leaders, government officials, and strategic partners.
- Strengthen government relations and deepen influence with policymakers, stakeholders, and economic organizations.
- Guide the Policy Review Committee, supporting impactful business-driven policy recommendations and communication with decision-makers.
- Expand grassroots policy engagement to better reflect member priorities.
- Delegate administrative functions to remain focused on strategic initiatives.
- Oversee financial and risk management, budgeting, and cash flow to ensure sustainability.
- Enhance internal processes, member engagement, and technology integration alongside the Operations Administrator.
- Work with the social media strategist to boost the Chamber's online presence.
- Continuously improve governance and operational practices.
- Serve as the Chamber's primary spokesperson, strengthening its public and media presence.
- Respond authentically to media inquiries and ensure advocacy aligns with business priorities.
- Engage in public forums and thought leadership opportunities to elevate the Chamber's influence.
- Position the Chamber as a trusted resource for business insights, advocacy, and member connections.
- Proven executive experience in chambers, business associations, or similar membership organizations.
- Strong ability to build lasting relationships with government, business, and stakeholders.
- Public relations and media expertise for confidently representing the Chamber.
