Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Industry, Environmental Services, Facilities Management or Food and Nutritional Sciences.
Experience in housekeeping, laundry, and food services.
Experience overseeing the responsibilities of building maintenance.
Supervisory experience in a healthcare environment including staffing is an asset.

It may be helpful for you to reviewDesired knowledge, skills and suitabilityn, the following:

Knowledge of person-centred care principles within long-term care environments.
Understanding of Accreditation Canada standards, food safety regulations, occupational health and safety legislation, and infection prevention and control practices.
Familiarity with Canada's Food Guide, therapeutic diets, and culturally appropriate meal planning.
Awareness of building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and working with facilities or property management services.
Strong people leadership skills, coaching and training to members of the team
Clear and respectful verbal and written communication skills, including ability to address concerns from residents, families, staff and partners.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in fast-paced and resource-constrained environments.
Strong understanding of working with various cultural backgrounds.
