Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll be tackling:
- On-Site Leadership: Take charge of site visits and work closely with construction managers, contractors, sub-contractors, and client representatives to keep projects on track and moving forward.
- Contract Mastery: Oversee change control procedures, manage contracts, and ensure strict adherence to building codes and safety regulations—your role will be essential to maintaining project integrity.
- Project Excellence: Play a critical role in delivering landmark projects, including public spaces, community developments, and institutional landmarks that will leave a lasting impact.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work alongside architects and production teams to manage change orders, RFIs, and other critical documentation, ensuring the seamless execution of design concepts.
- Meticulous Documentation: Take charge of project reporting, ensuring every change, update, and milestone is accurately documented and communicated to the project team.
- Education: A Diploma/Certification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in architecture, with a minimum of 1.5 years in contract administration! Seasoned CA's are welcome to apply, all levels of experience will be considered.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite is a must. You’ll also need to be comfortable reviewing and marking up shop drawings.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with architects, project teams, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication: Stellar presentation, negotiation, and communication skills—because you’ll be working directly with clients and other key players.
- Added Bonus: A background in architectural technology or a related technical field would be a fantastic asset.
