The role will manage the process of gathering data from various sources to provide visibility into performance & spend opportunities. The Mail Operations Specialist will assist the manager with the annual budget process & monthly KPI’s for vendor service level compliances.This position requires in-depth communication of complex information, both verbal and written to management, vendors, and certain internal organizational stakeholders. This Specialist should have the ability to demonstrate active listening skills, as well as effective speaking and writing skills. This position requires the associate to make good decisions, while utilizing all available resources. It is imperative that the Mail Operations Specialist build and maintain strong relationships with peers as well as maintaining an open mind in order to demonstrate an understanding of Mail Operations goals as well as the Company vision.What you will do – Essential ResponsibilitiesA successful Senior Coordinator candidate will:Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate data from 3rd party vendors to assess compliance and scorecard rating. (Analysis and Decision Making/Results Focus)Partner with management in establishing, monitoring, and maintaining KPI’s for the departmental benchmarks. (Teamwork/Results Focus)To carry out the proper handling of inbound and outbound USPS, inter-company, and courier packages for mail processing and other mail operations projects as assigned. To ensure safe, timely and accurate mail practices in order to maintain time and cost effectiveness. (Teamwork/Functional Expertise)Serve as a liaison between Mail Operations and all CarMax extension buildings. This includes communications and mail deliveries to and from locations. (Communication/Customer Service)Monitor, evaluate and report all Mail Operations related expenditures to ensure favorable budget expectations. (Analysis and Decision Making/Courageous Leadership)Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and RequirementsTo be successful for this role, we are looking for someone that can consistently deliver at a high level on the responsibilities listed above.   • Mail operations experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license & a clean driving record
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Basic communications, computer, and math skills

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the CarMax Home Office in Richmond, VA. Associates based in Richmond work onsite 5 days per week.Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
