- Act as the clients’ day-to-day point of contact;
- Support clients in helping them achieve their employee benefits objectives;
- Provide support for insurance needs and general inquiries;
- Respond to last-minute and urgent requests;
- Coordinate with the relevant operational units to deliver the work outlined in the engagement letter and other initiatives agreed upon throughout the client relationship;
- Ensure project management for the operational unit responsible for executing the work, in accordance with the service description and client expectations;
- Identify opportunities, in collaboration with the Client Relationship Manager (“CRM”), to provide additional services that meet client needs;
- Maintain a broad understanding of the work performed by Health Solutions;
- Engage specialized resources (actuarial, pharmacy, wellness, etc.) to address client issues when required;
- Coordinate and schedule all meetings to present deliverables to clients;
- Help prepare for and attend annual planning meetings and other strategic discussions;
- Develop a strong partnership with the CRM and ensure service delivery aligns with the client’s strategy;
- Coordinate client onboarding (with direct support from the relevant operational units);
- Advocate for clients’ interests in discussions with their various insurance providers on all financial or coverage-related matters;
- Support the CRM and the Finance department with the elements required for revenue recognition.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in group insurance, either in consulting or underwriting;
- A valid group insurance license with the AMF;
- Bilingualism in French and English is required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and/or internationally;
- Demonstrated technical and problem-solving skills in relatively complex business situations;
- Strong project management and organizational skills to coordinate and deliver multiple large-scale advisory mandates and projects;
- Proven ability to engage and lead diverse stakeholders in project environments;
- Technical expertise and knowledge of recent trends in the group insurance market and recent legislative changes;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize and manage short or competing deadlines;
- A desire and curiosity to continue learning and pursue ongoing professional development;
- Strong technology skills and ease of working within the Microsoft Office suite;
- A post-secondary degree in finance, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field is an asset but not required.
