- Support the recruitment, training, and licensing of Driver Education instructors and contractors
- Deliver and support instructor training in alignment with AMA Driver Education standards and Alberta Transportation School Licensing requirements.
- Deliver and support in‑vehicle, classroom, simulator, and specialized instruction as required
- Monitor, mentor, and evaluate instructors to ensure AMA and Alberta Transportation standards are met
- Provide constructive coaching and performance feedback during probation and ongoing employment
- Model safe driving practices and instructional excellence at all times
- Support curriculum development, classroom rewrites, and novice classroom delivery
- Maintain AMA fleet vehicles and ensure safe operating conditions
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Class 1, 2, or 4 Alberta Operator’s Licence
- Minimum two years licensed as a Driving Instructor with appropriate endorsements
- Minimum two years’ experience across multiple areas of driver education
- Clean Driver’s Abstract (10 years)
- Ability to obtain security clearance, including Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong instructional, communication, and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, travel as required, and adjust schedules to meet business needs
