Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to: Engineering ManagerABB’s Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner.
We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services.Your Role: Own the Challenge
  • Responsible for the schedules and budget (costs) of their projects.
  • Responsible for communications with clients.
  • Responsible for cost consolidation during the project bidding process.
  • Coordinates FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) with clients.
  • Participates in the implementation of technical solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coordinates various activities related to their projects (technical solution development, integration, testing, client training).
  • Works closely with the operations, sales, order entry, after-sales service, applications, and engineering teams.
  • Participates in various continuous improvement activities.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with a background in manufacturing and project management or relevant expertise.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and initiative; excels at prioritization and is results- and customer-oriented.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
